this years fourth was different for us. it didn’t work out to spend it with our families and most of our small group found themselves in the same place. so we gathered at the bramblett’s home for a huge spread of food and some homemade fireworks. it was a very laid-back satisfying holiday – though elise could have done without the fireworks!
(it was olivia’s birthday. it made perfect sense to elise for everyone to sing to her too. so we did.)
