yankee candle company has an amazing store in williamsburg. other than just tons of candles, they also have dip-your-own candles and an area where it really snows inside!
while evan and ethan and i were in that area together we were watching the snow come down and i mentioned that i heard santa was around here somewhere. ethan, in a rather loud tone asked, ‘where is santa?’ a loud ‘ho, ho, ho’ was heard coming over the bridge and there he was. ethan just about jumped out of his skin. santa sat down and talked with ethan for a little bit.
to say the least it left a big impression. afterward he whispered to me, ‘mom, evan thought santa wasn’t real…but i did.’ he’s convinced more than ever.
