sometime in june, elise, emilie and i joined our sweet girlfriends, the webbs, for a 1/2 birthday party for josie at tea leaves and thyme.  josie’s birthday is in december so her thoughtful mommy decided we should have a little celebration when the holiday rush was a long way off.

the four girls donned the hats of their choice and enjoyed the mad hatter tea complete with bunny sandwiches and itty-bitty chocolate ‘mice’ truffles.  what a treat!

so one day e3 was playing the drums and turned to me and declared ‘i want to have a drum birthday’…therein this idea was born.  c and i sat down and re-wrote ‘beautiful day’.  it’s already been loads of fun.  we can’t wait till 8.8.09.
